What are the typical maintenance requirements for a coil wire shot blasting machine?
The typical maintenance requirements for a coil wire shot blasting machine are categorized into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks. These maintenance activities are essential to ensure the machine operates efficiently, prolong its service life, and maintain high-quality shot blasting results. Below are the specific maintenance guidelines:
Daily Maintenance
1.Check for Loose Bolts: Inspect all bolts on the blast turbines and motors for looseness and tighten them immediately.
2.Inspect Wear-Resistant Parts: Examine the wear conditions of the wear parts in the blast turbine and the guard plate in the shot blasting chamber. Replace worn parts promptly.
3.Replace Half-Worn Blades: Check the blades and replace them when they are half worn.
4.Verify Directional Sleeve Pointer: Ensure the pointer position of the directional sleeve is correct.
5.Check Door Closure: Ensure the inspection door of the shot blasting machine is tightly closed.
6.Inspect Dust Removal System: Check for air leaks in the dust removal pipeline and inspect the filter bag in the dust collector for dust accumulation or damage.
7.Clean Separator Components: Remove any deposits or debris from the spiral shell and filter screen of the separator.
8.Check Flow Screen: Ensure the flow screen of the separator forms a uniform and full curtain.
9.Inspect Gate Valve: Verify that the electronically controlled shot supply gate valve is closed.
10.Check Switches and Signals: Inspect the status of limit switches, proximity switches, and console signal indicators.
11.Monitor Motor Current: Ensure the current of the shot-blasting motor is within the rated range.
12.Clean Electrical Control Box: Remove dust from the electrical control box.
13.Inspect Seals: Check the wear of the shot inlet pipe gasket, rubber guard plate of the working door, and top seal to prevent loss of steel shot.
14.Remove Debris: Clear debris from the bottom plate grid to ensure the recovery of steel shots.
15.Check Abrasive Level: Ensure the total amount of steel shot in the shot silo is sufficient and add more if needed.
Weekly Maintenance
1.Inspect Abrasive Distributor: Replace the abrasive distributor if wear exceeds 3 mm.
2.Check Directional Sleeve: Replace the directional sleeve if the opening is larger than 6 mm.
3.Examine Blast Turbine Guard Plate: Inspect for severe wear or misplacement of the blast turbine guard plate.
4.Adjust V-Belt Tension: Ensure the V-belt of the blast turbine can be pressed about 10 mm inward; adjust if necessary.
5.Inspect Partitions and Slides: Check for wear and replace if necessary.
6.Verify Recyclable Abrasives: Ensure there are qualified steel shots in the fine powder tube and bulk tube for recycling.
7.Inspect Hoisting Device: Check the belt tension, bolts, joints, and wear of the hoisting device.
8.Clean Screw Vessel: Remove any foreign objects and wear from the screw vessel.
9.Repair Bottom Grid: Fix any loopholes in the bottom grid.
10.Inspect Pipe Joints: Ensure there is no air or dust leakage at the pipe joints.
11.Clean Dust Collector Filter: Use the pulse blowback mechanism to clean the dust collector filter cartridge.
12.Lubricate Bearings: Lubricate the bearing seats of the blast turbines.
Drain Air Compressor: Drain the air compressor, gas storage tank, and oil-water separator.
Monthly Maintenance
13.Adjust Gate Valve: Ensure the gate valve opens and closes to meet the shot blasting motor current value of 25A to 30A.
14.Lubricate Drive Chain: Adjust and lubricate the drive chain.
Inspect Bucket Elevator Belt: Check and adjust the belt tension on the bucket elevator; tighten the hopper bolts.
15.Check Reducer Lubricant: Ensure the lubricating oil level in the reducer is sufficient and add grease if needed.
16.Clean AC Contactor and Switch Contacts: Inspect and clean the contact status of each AC contactor and knife switch.
17.Inspect Power and Control Cables: Check for loose connections and tighten if necessary.
18.Test Motors: Test each motor separately, listening for normal sounds and checking no-load current for at least five minutes.
19.Inspect Fan and Air Duct: Check the wear and fixation of the fan and air duct.
20.Lubricate Conveying Components: Add 2# calcium-based grease to the bearing seats of the hoisting device, separator, and screw conveyor.
21.Change Air Compressor Oil: Replace the oil in the air compressor.
Quarterly Maintenance
1.Inspect Bearings and Electrical Box: Check the condition of bearings and the electronic control box, and refill grease as needed.
2.Check Shot Blasting Blade Wear: Inspect the wear condition of the shot blasting blade.
3.Replace High-Speed Grease: Replace the high-speed grease lubricant for spindle and motor bearings.
4.Inspect Sealing and Tightness: Check the sealing and tightness of all motors, reducers, fans, and screw conveyors.
Annual Maintenance
1.Lubricate All Bearings: Check the lubrication conditions of all bearings, including motor bearings, and add new grease.
2.Replace or Weld Main Chamber Guard: Replace or weld repair the main chamber body guard plate.
3.Check PLC and Inverter Contact Reliability: Inspect the contact reliability between the PLC and the inverter.
4.Verify Ammeter Accuracy: Check the accuracy of the ammeter.
5.Inspect Dust Collector Filter: Replace the filter cartridge if damaged or use an air gun to clean it if there is excessive dust.
6.Clean and Repair Air Ducts: Perform necessary dredging and repair of air ducts.
By following these maintenance schedules, you can ensure that your coil wire shot blasting machine operates efficiently and reliably, reducing downtime and extending its service life.
